Renault 5 EV Gets A $2,700 Group B Body Kit

Milltek debuts a Group-B inspired widebody kit at Goodwood. The modular kit fits both the Renault 5 and Alpine A290 EVs. In the UK, the basic package is priced at £2,000 ($2,700). The Alpine A290 is a beefed-up take on the R5 E-Tech, with styling and performance upgrades over the standard car, but some owners will want something sharper still. UK tuner Milltek has now revealed a wide bodykit for the electric hatchback, drawing on the 1985 R5 Maxi Turbo Group B monster for its cues. Interestingly, the styling upgrades are compatible with both the Renault and the Alpine versions. Still, the additional rally-style DRLs are exclusive to the Alpine due to the different design of the front bumper. Rippl Impact Gear LDX Rides | The Ultimate Motorcycle Comfort Upgrade?

Comfort can make or break a motorcycle journey. While riders often focus on upgrading seats, suspension and riding gear, one area that is frequently overlooked is what sits between the rider and the saddle. Rippl Impact Gear believes it has the answer with its LDX Rides shorts, a padded undergarment designed to reduce fatigue, pressure points and discomfort on long rides. After spending time looking at what the LDX Rides offers, it’s clear these shorts are aimed at riders who regularly rack up the miles and want to stay comfortable for longer. At first glance, the LDX Rides resembles a pair of premium cycling shorts, but the technology hidden beneath the surface has been specifically developed for motorcyclists. Strategically positioned gel and foam inserts provide additional cushioning around key contact points, including the glutes, coccyx and groin area. These are the areas most likely to suffer from pressure and vibration during extended periods in the saddle, particularly on mot...

Red Bull’s RB17 makes its dynamic debut at Goodwood this weekend. The Cosworth V10 revs to 15,000 rpm and skips all hybrid tech. Adrian Newey and two current F1 drivers will run it up the hill. The Red Bull RB17 makes its global dynamic debut at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed , where it will be driven by two F1 drivers and by Adrian Newey, the man who designed it and now serves as team principal of Aston Martin F1. Two years have passed since the bonkers RB17 was first previewed, and roughly six months since it appeared in production guise for the very first time. Because it was built purely for track use, unlike the Aston Martin Valkyrie that Newey also penned, Red Bull had a free hand to make it as extreme as it wanted. The result is not far removed from the Valkyrie AMR Pro, only more unhinged.
