The new partnership between Kawasaki UK and the James Whitham Track Training Days is well underway, following four successful events across Anglesey, Croft and Cadwell Park, with a number of events remaining throughout the summer for riders to sign up to. Announced earlier this year, the partnership will see the school supplied with a mix of Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-6R machines for their instructors to use on track. Each day is built around the ethos of low-number groups to maximise track time and tuition, allowing riders to improve their skills in a pressure-free environment. Following events at Anglesey, Croft and Cadwell Park over the last few weeks, the 2026 season is well underway for Whitham and the star-studded lineup of coaches, which include AJN Steelstock bimota riders Max Cook and Joe Talbot. Mercedes, a while back, had confirmed the return of the physical buttons for the necessary function in its cars. However, the brand has said that the large screens will stay, which show digital craftsmanship. Mathias Geisen, Mercedes sales and customer experience, has said to  Autocar UK  that, according to car research clinics, customers do like the big screens, but they want buttons for certain functions.  Geisen has said that commitment to the big screens is to keep with the premium placement. Furthermore, he noted that the idea is to deliver a high-quality look and feel, while seamlessly blending into the digital ecosystem. An important highlight for this is the large, ultra-high-resolution display stretching close to a metre across the dashboard, which lets users personalise the cabin in newer ways.                            The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India has issued a draft notification proposing amendments to the Central Motor Vehicles Rules to increase blending of ethanol in petrol. The draft issued by the government includes a provision for E85 fuel (petrol with 85 per cent ethanol). Additionally, the proposal includes E100, which is essentially ethanol. Presently, the country widely uses E20 fuel (20 per cent ethanol blended in petrol), which was rolled out in April last year. Currently under consideration, the draft notification is open for public feedback, following which the government will take a decision. With the higher blending of ethanol, the government aims to reduce dependency on crude oil, which has been the centre of discussion amid the ongoing tensions in West Asia.

Hyundai reveals the 2027 Grandeur facelift in South Korea. The flagship sedan gains a cleaner face and new colors. It also features an overhauled cabin with a 17-inch display. Hyundai has released the first images of the facelifted Grandeur, showing modest exterior revisions and a thoroughly reworked cabin for its Korean-market flagship sedan. The Grandeur, sold in the US and Canada as the Azera until Hyundai gave up on the segment, entered its seventh generation in November 2022 . Production of the M2 Coupe RR Edition will be capped at just 10 units. BMW has also launched limited-run S 1000 RR and M 1000 RR models. Both the car and the motorcycle feature custom Akrapovic exhausts. BMW produces some of the planet’s finest sports cars and superbikes , yet it’s rare for the firm’s car and motorcycle divisions to work together. However, they’ve just collaborated to create special edition versions of the M2 Coupe and the S 1000 RR/M 1000 RR, available exclusively in South Africa . Starting with the new M2 , it’s dubbed the RR Edition and comes exclusively in Black Sapphire Metallic.
