MotoGP: The momentum shifts again in the World Championship as, after seven laps of some of the best racing of the year, Martin crashes from P2 and subsequently sees his weekend end with injury. In one of the most pivotal Sprints of the year, Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) snatched Tissot Sprint gold and reigned supreme in an epic battle against Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) at Phillip Island. FIRST 20 MINUTES: two red flags halt the running As the session started, the first crash came for Jack Miller (Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP) at Turn 6, the Australian’s second of the day after his fast Turn 1 spill in FP1.
