Ather 450 Apex Gets Cruise Control Feature in India
Ather Energy has announced the introduction of cruise control for its 450 Apex electric scooter, sold in the Indian market. This feature, called "Infinite Cruise", is compatible with all models in the 450 series, including the 450 S, 450 X, and 450 Apex. Consumers owning the MY2025 version will also receive a backward rollout of this update.
The announcement was made during the Ather Community Day celebration, where the company shared multiple updates for its EV lineup. Infinite Cruise is operated via a switch on the right side of the handlebar and works across all speed ranges with a lower limit of 10 kmph. Unlike conventional systems, it does not disengage during stop-and-go traffic; instead, it pauses and resumes automatically.
