2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 — Tech upgrades, better efficiency, new Wet mode

Updates focused on electronics, comfort and fuel efficiency

Published: September 08, 2025 · By

Ducati’s 2025 Multistrada V4 brings a targeted set of updates: the proven 1,158cc V4 Granturismo remains (170 bhp, 123.8 Nm) now compliant with Euro 5+ norms, while electronics and chassis systems have been improved to boost real-world efficiency and usability. Key additions include an extended cylinder-deactivation routine that can switch off rear cylinders at low speeds, an Automatic Lowering Device for easier low-speed manoeuvres, and a new “Wet” riding mode aimed at improved control in low-traction conditions. The V4 S keeps radar-based systems — Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection — and gains Forward Collision Warning for added safety.

Performance & efficiency

The 1,158cc V4 Granturismo produces 170 bhp and 123.8 Nm. Extended cylinder deactivation is claimed to reduce fuel use by up to ~6% in mixed riding, and the exhaust and emissions package have been updated to meet Euro 5+ standards.

Technology & rider aids

The Automatic Lowering Device lowers seat height by roughly 15–30 mm at speeds below 10 km/h to assist shorter riders and low-speed handling. The V4 S’s Skyhook DSS EVO semi-active suspension now includes predictive bump detection and self-levelling when carrying passenger/luggage. The 6.5-inch TFT gets a refreshed UI for easier access to settings.

Design & comfort

Styling updates include new painted panels around the dual-LED headlights and revised luggage positioning to improve pillion legroom. The V4 S offers spoked wheels as an option and new colours such as Thrilling Black and Arctic White.

India pricing (September 2025)

On launch in India the range starts at ₹22.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Multistrada V4, ₹28.64 lakh for the Multistrada V4 S, and the V4 S with spoked wheels is listed at ~₹30.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
