Ford Recalls Nearly 1.5 Million U.S. Vehicles Over Rear-View Camera Defect
Ford has issued a recall for roughly 1.5 million vehicles in the U.S. after identifying a defect that can make the rear-view camera display blank or distorted on the center screen while reversing.
What models are affected?
2015–2019 Lincoln Navigator, MKC, Mustang, Ranger, Transit, Transit Connect, Econoline, Edge, Expedition, and F-Series Super Duty (F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550).
Incidents & Safety
NHTSA reports 18 crashes linked to this issue, no injuries. Owners will get mail notices and free repairs from Ford/Lincoln dealers.

- Wait for Ford’s recall notice by mail.
- If you see a blank/distorted image, book free inspection at a dealer.
- Until repaired, use mirrors and shoulder checks when reversing.
