The 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift has officially been launched in India with prices starting at ₹9.99 lakh and going up to ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The popular lifestyle SUV now comes with a refreshed design, more features, and improved ergonomics while continuing with the same powerful engine options.
New Variant Names and Prices
Mahindra has updated the variant names – what was earlier called AX Opt and LX is now renamed to AXT and LXT. Here is the complete variant-wise price list of the new Thar:

Exterior & Interior Updates
The Thar facelift 2025 gets subtle design changes including a body-coloured front grille and the return of silver inserts on the bumpers. Inside the cabin, Mahindra has introduced a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with modern connectivity features and a new steering wheel.
Mahindra has also improved ergonomics – the power window switches are now placed on the doors instead of the center console. The automatic variants now get a much-needed dead pedal for comfort during long drives. Other feature additions include rear AC vents, a rear wiper, and a washer for added convenience
