Ram had the pickup world’s attention with the Rumble Bee, so Shelby American went and grabbed it back. The company has revived the Super Snake Sport, its most street-focused F-150, and it makes more power than Ram’s headline truck. On paper, at least, it has the makings of something worth caring about.
Much like the old F-150 Super Snake Sport, launched in 2020 before being retired, this new one is based on a two-door F-150. Shelby says it shares some of the same intentions as the Mustang-based Super Snake, with suspension and chassis tweaks meant to sharpen it up well beyond what you’d expect from a pickup.

As standard, Shelby’s F-150 Super Snake Sport uses a 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8, delivering 400 hp. That’s plenty of power, right? Well, if it’s not, Shelby has also launched a supercharged version that lifts power to 810 hp. That’s a touch more than the Rumble Bee SRT, which tops out at 777 hp.
No Ordinary F-150
Plenty of other upgrades have been made. These include a new high-performance air intake and high-flow air filter as well as a carbon fiber intake tube and an aluminum heat exchanger. There are also high-performance fuel injectors and a Borla exhaust.
To give the Shelby that low-slung performance-pickup stance, it’s been fitted with lowering springs and new King adjustable coilovers. There are also aftermarket traction bars at the rear in addition to drilled and slotted Baer brakes. A full body kit has also been designed for the truck, including an overhauled front fascia and bumper, side skirts, and a custom tonneau cover, complete with a small lip spoiler.
Each Super Snake Sport is based on a 2026 F-150 XL 4×4 with prices starting at $115,795 for an 810 hp model. For the money, each example also includes plenty of interior tweaks, including new leather seat covers, carbon fiber trimmings, billet racing pedals, embroidered floor mats, and a numbered plaque.
