Ducati Corse and Fermín Aldeguer, together until 2028

Ducati Corse is pleased to announce the extension of its agreement with Fermín Aldeguer for the next two seasons of the MotoGP World Championship, extending the collaboration with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer until the end of the 2028 season.

Over the course of his first two seasons in the Premier Class, the Spanish rider has demonstrated his talent, speed, and confirmed all his potential as one of the most promising young riders on the international motorcycling scene. Ducati has thus decided to strengthen its commitment to Aldeguer, placing him at the centre of its long-term sports strategy.

As part of this agreement, Fermín Aldeguer will race with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, a key benchmark structure within the Ducati family in MotoGP.

This renewal confirms Ducati’s confidence in the Spanish rider’s qualities and his potential for growth, with the goal of becoming one of the main key players in the future of MotoGP.

Claudio Domenicali (Ducati CEO) “Fermín perfectly represents Ducati’s vision for the future of racing: believing in young talent and nurturing their growth so they can fully unleash their potential. This philosophy has brought us immense satisfaction over the years, and it is one we remain deeply committed to. From the very beginning, we recognised in Fermín a rider ready to tackle a major challenge like MotoGP. He made his premier-class debut with Ducati and quickly carved out his place on the grid, proving he possesses all the qualities needed to compete at the highest level. Starting next season, he will embark on a new chapter with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team—a squad that excels at developing young riders and shares our same ambition and hunger for victory. We are thrilled to continue this journey together and fully confident that Fermín will maximise this new opportunity. Finally, our thanks go to BK8 Gresini Racing for believing in Fermín right from his MotoGP debut and for the work done together along this journey, contributing significantly to his growth and allowing him to showcase his talent within our sports project”.

Gigi Dall’Igna (Ducati Corse General Manager) “We are very happy to announce the agreement renewal with Fermín for the next two seasons. Since his arrival in MotoGP, he has shown extraordinary talent, a great ability to learn, and a determination that impressed us immediately. He is still a very young rider, but his potential is huge, and we are convinced he has ample room for growth. For this reason, we decided to invest further in him, confirming our faith in a project that clearly looks to the future. We believe the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team represents the ideal environment to continue his path. In recent years, the Team has proven its ability to make the most of young talent and to be a truly competitive entity in the Championship. We are certain that here Fermín will have everything he needs to keep growing and achieve major milestones. At Ducati, we strongly believe in his worth.”

With this renewal, Ducati Corse confirms its commitment to nurturing young talents and building a solid, competitive sports project, laying the foundations to remain a protagonist in the MotoGP World Championship in the years to come.
