Kriega release their biggest ever soft pannier, the OS-42
The Kriega OS-42 is a 42-litre, heavy-duty soft pannier for the adventure biking and long-distance touring communities.
Made from the highest quality materials including ultra-abrasion-resistant Hypalon, 1000D Cordura®, heavy-duty webbing and aircraft-grade alloy buckles, this tried and tested combination has been proven to be extremely durable and long-lasting, allowing OS-Soft Panniers to be confidently sold with Kriega’s 10-year guarantee.
The roll-top closure and replaceable taped-seam liner offer a 100% waterproof pack. The white liner makes it easy to find items in the pannier, and the liner can be inexpensively and quickly replaced if it becomes damaged.
The OS-Soft Pannier’s structured box shape allows for ease of organised packing. Soft panniers have several benefits for adventure bike riders when compared to a hard plastic or metal pannier. These include improved crash survival and rider safety benefits when motorcycles are taken onto terrain where the odd tumble becomes almost unavoidable.
The OS-Soft Pannier range is designed to be easily fitted to Kriega’s virtually indestructible OS-Platform. Mounting or removing OS-Soft Panniers takes less than a minute thanks to quick-release straps and buckles. The same straps compress the pack firmly in position. No extra tie-down straps are required.
Kriega OS-Soft Panniers are sold individually so it’s possible to mix and match with the smaller OS-32 or OS-22 Soft Pannier for symmetry on a bike that has a high-level exhaust silencer.
OS-Soft Panniers have 16 tough hook-on points allowing owners to attach accessories like the OS-Bottle, extra storage in the shape of the OS-6 Adventure Pack, or use Kriega Straps to carry awkwardly-shaped items.
The OS-Platforms also accept fuel or water containers allowing adventurers to pack an OS-Soft Pannier on one side of the motorcycle, and Overland liquid containers on the other.
