Nicolò Bulega and Ducati Corse renew their agreement, Bulega will make his MotoGP debut next season with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team.
Ducati Corse is pleased to announce the renewal of its agreement with Nicolò Bulega, consolidating a relationship built on growth, results, and mutual trust. Among the key figures of the Superbike World Championship with the Aruba.it Racing-Ducati Team, the Italian rider will take a further crucial step forward in his career and compete in the 2027 MotoGP season with the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, the Ducati Factory Supported Team.
Bulega’s debut in MotoGP represents a natural evolution of a journey that has seen him grow steadily alongside Ducati, demonstrating speed, technical maturity, and an adaptability that have allowed him to establish himself as one of the most exciting talents in international motorcycling.
Before starting this new adventure, Bulega will remain fully focused on his commitments in the Superbike World Championship, where he is still fighting for the ultimate result with the Aruba.it Racing-Ducati Team.
Claudio Domenicali (CEO of Ducati)
“Nicolò is a rider to whom we are deeply attached, and his journey with Ducati makes us particularly proud. Over these years, with the support of Team Aruba.it Racing, he has written important pages in our sporting history, from the World Supersport title to the seasons spent at the top of Superbike, where he has fought for the title right from the debut. Today, he is the key protagonist leading a Championship in which he has set a series of 25 consecutive victories, a record that rightfully places him in the history of the category. Nicolò has earned on the track the opportunity to measure himself against MotoGP, and we are thrilled that he can do so together with Ducati. It is a new and challenging task that he can take on strong in the level and maturity he has achieved. At Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, he will join Fermín. Together they will form a young line-up with huge potential, coming from different paths but sharing the same desire to establish themselves in MotoGP. It is a line-up we believe in strongly, and we are confident Nicolò will hold his own against the best in the world and show once again what he is capable of. First, however, we want to fully enjoy what he is doing in Superbike and continue living this already extraordinary season”.
Luigi Dall’Igna (General Manager of Ducati Corse)
“We are very happy to have renewed our agreement with Nicolò and to welcome him to the Ducati MotoGP project starting from the next season. Over these years, he has proven to be a rider of great talent, capable of growing consistently, making the best out of our bikes, and reaching an extremely high level of competitiveness. His path confirms that he is a rider with a solid and successful present in terms of results, but at the same time, with an extraordinarily promising future ahead. We believe the right time has come to face this new challenge. The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will represent the ideal environment to accompany him through his adaptation to MotoGP, and we are confident he will have all the necessary tools at his disposal to express his full potential. The new commitment will have to wait: everyone’s focus will remain, for now, completely on the WorldSBK Championship. Nicolò is having a great season, and now is the moment to focus all efforts on a single goal: fighting together to win the world title. Finally, I would like to thank Aruba.it Racing-Ducati Team for the work done together with Nicolò over these seasons. They were the first to believe in him, and the growth path that brought him today to be ready for MotoGP is the result of a shared commitment, the great work of the Team, and the determination Nicolò has shown year after year”.
With this agreement, Ducati Corse confirms its commitment to nurturing talent within its sporting structure, strengthening its bond with one of the most promising Italian riders of his generation and preparing to embark on a new MotoGP adventure starting in 2027.
